Most IQACs meet on schedule. Far fewer meet in a way that changes anything.
This module is built around that gap: running a meeting that produces real decisions, then following each decision through to a documented Action Taken Report (ATR). By the end, participants can:
- Prepare and circulate an effective IQAC meeting agenda
- Run a meeting that records decisions, not just discussion
- Maintain proper attendance and minutes records
- Prepare an ATR and track it to closure
- Carry pending items forward so they don't quietly drop
“A meeting only counts if it produces three things: a decision specific enough to act on, a person who owns that decision, and a date by which it must be done.”

The 12 slides used in the live session, from the Plan → Decide → Act → Verify loop to the participant assignment. Use the arrows, the dots, or your keyboard's arrow keys.
Every module follows the same four steps
- ConceptThe idea, explained in simple Hinglish with slides.
- Live demoThe trainer runs the tool on a dummy "Sample College" case.
- Hands-on practiceParticipants use the same tool themselves on sample data.
- Take-awayA ready template or checklist to use back at the institution.
Try the IQAC Meeting Minutes Generator
Every module includes a working tool. In Module 3, participants fill in meeting details, members, agenda decisions and the previous ATR, and the tool produces formatted minutes ready for signature.
Use sample data only. In the course, practice is done on a dummy "Sample College" case, never on a participant's own institutional data.
Action Taken Report (ATR)
A generic template participants keep and fill after every IQAC meeting. The first row shows how a finished entry reads.
| Institution Name: ____________________ | Academic Year: ________ | ||||
| Meeting Date: ____________ | Meeting No.: ________ | ||||
| Agenda item | Decision taken | Action required | Responsible | Target date | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3.2 Library e-resources (Criterion 3 evidence gap) | Budget approved for e-resource subscription | Place order; file invoice as evidence | Librarian | Within 3 weeks | In progress |
Rule from the session: start every meeting by reviewing the previous meeting's ATR before raising any new agenda item.
